Acceptable Driving Record
General Guidelines
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable driving experience
- Able to Speak & Read English per USDOT Requirements
- Driver Training courses are NOT considered work experience
- No more than four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months
- No more than two (2) moving violations in the past 12 months
- No more than four (4) non-moving violations in the past 36 months
- No more than three (3) non-Moving violations in the past 36 months related to equipment or brakes
Accidents
- No more than one at fault accident and one not fault accident in the past 36 months (Must have copy of police report
Driver disqualified if any of the following appears on MVR
- Speeding violation over 25mph over the posted limit within the last 36 months
- Any accident involving hit and run in the last 36 months
- Any violation of reckless driving, speed contest, exhibition speed contest, or racing in the last 36 months
- Any violation of vehicular manslaughter or negligent homicide
- Any Felony involving a motor vehicle
- Any violation of DUI of alcohol or Drugs in a personal vehicle in the last 6 years
- Any violation of DUI of alcohol or Drugs in a commercial vehicle
- Any violation of passing a stopped school bus
- Any refusal to submit to a chemical test
- IF COVICTED OF ANY VIOLATION LISTED ABOVE MORE THAN ONCE IN THE PAST 10 YEARS
- Three accidents, regardless of fault, within the past 36 months
- More than one speeding of 15-25mph over the posted limit in 36 months
- Any violation relating to removing, altering, or defacing a vehicle or component ID numbers
- Any Violation relating to knowingly buying, selling, or possessing a vehicle with ID numbers Removed, altered, or defaced
- Any violation driving while license suspended, revoked, or disqualified due to violations in the past 36 months
- Any license suspension due to points or violations in the past 36 months
- Any current restrictions on driving privileges
- Habitual Violators: having more then eight(8) moving violations in the past 5 years or having multiple suspensions for points/violations
- any open container violations
